Has Bono had plastic surgery?

First of all I would like to say that I think this article is totally wack, but here it is word for word...

Has Bono had plastic surgery?

Has Bono had plastic surgery?
by CLEMMIE MOODIE

He is almost as well known for his distinct wraparound sunglasses as he
is for his music. But now the glasses have gone.... as has a recently
seen plaster.

Which rather begs the question - has international superstar Bono had a
little remedial eyework?

Beaming from ear to ear, the 46-year-old musician took the incredibly
rare step of removing his distinctive orange shades and posing for
photographers.

Boasting a fresh-faced complexion, and no hint of any under eye bags,
the U2 frontman has every reason to smile.

He made his wrinkle-free appearance at the launch of a new third world
documentary, We Are Together, in New York, as he posed up with members
of an orphanage featured in the film.

When one cheeky youngster pointed up at his face, Bono laughed before
happily removing the offending shades and plonking them over the
giggling tot's eyes.

The move ensured that all attention focused squarely on the Irish
star's remarkably bright and smooth eyes.

Last night, leading plastic surgeons suggested that scarring from
recent plastic surgery had now healed, prompting Bono to remove the
glasses and show off his new, evergreen face.

"I definitely think Bono has had lower blepharoplasty - lower eyelid
surgery - which the plaster covered up back in December," said top
plastic surgeon Dr Lucy Glancey.

"He probably had quite a bit of bruising under the eye at this time -
sometimes you get no bruising after surgery, sometimes you get bruising
under just one eye, giving what looks like a black eye.

"A proper black eye could take up to six weeks to heal, on top of
slight scarring, which would explain why Bono has remained hidden under
sunglasses until now.

"As well as the eye lift, he has probably had Botox to lift his brows
becuase there is still a skin overhang in this area which wouldn't be
there if he had had an upper blepharoplasty.

"He also looks to have had Botox all around the eye area, resulting in
a softening of the lines and, on top of this, a mid and low face-lift.

This stubble- beard that he's grown will quite cleverly cover any
scarring.

"I think Bono has had a reasonably good result - his work hasn't been
overly done, and he just looks a lot fresher. I'm sure he's pleased
with the results which is why he's so much happier to show off his
face."

Of course, the Live 8 star has never publicly admitted to having had
any cosmetic work.

And he was rumoured to be livid when an unauthorised biography
published four years ago suggested that he considered having extensive
liposuction.

He is, though, notoriously precious about his aesthetic appearance.

Two years ago, along with fellow band mate Larry Mullen Jnr, he took
his former stylist to court, accusing her of stealing one of his
outfits.

The singer - real name Paul Hewson - accused Lola Cashman of taking a
pair of his black trousers, a green sweatshirt, a pair of silver
earrings and the "iconic" Stetson he wore on an album cover.

Um....

"which would explain why Bono has remained hidden under sunglasses until now."
:lmao:
how long ago did he have this surgery?
and this :lmao:
"This stubble- beard that he's grown will quite cleverly cover any scarring",
is just bad research, and not paying attention to the subject. Proof positive that you shouldn't write about subject's you don't know anything about.

This happens when you take your glasses off once every five years.

Bono has officially entered into cosmetic competition with Larry now.

With or without his glasses, I still see plenty of bags and wrinkles under his eyes. Maybe not as many as he had when he was busy continent-hopping last year, but still an appropriate amount for a man of his age. And if he did have cosmetic surgery (which of course, he didn't) I'd suggest he get his money back, because I don't see any more of a difference than a few full nights of sleep would cause.

and as for the bandage under his right eye in September, it's a well documented fact that he's had trouble with that eye for years. In his own words, he's said that he has a blockage there and that the eye swells (particularly in response to bright lights, and camera flashes... another reason for the sunglasses). The most likely case is that he had some sort of medical surgery on it, in an attempt to fix it.

But good on Bono for getting into the gossip press  It's so hard for someone like him to do that.

What a stupid article!!

Oh my God!!! This is ridiculous!!! I can only laugh at this! Botox, liposuction. Hahaha!!!
I can imagine these "leading plastic surgeons" sitting at a big table and examining the pics of Bono's face.... And they would be disappointed if it turned out that he just had a good sleep the night before..... :D
By the way, I still see the wrinkles, too.
And what plaster is this article talking about?!?!

:lmao: this is so bloody brilliant!

 oh right, it's supposed to be serious???

 not a chance...

srsly, if he'd have a black eye, PLEBAns would notice it in a second.... and being one, I conclude that he still looks the same, just a bit more rested...

Well, isn't it actually a compliment when even "experts" say he looks so good for his age that he could only have had plastic surgery?

Hoooray for B for finally making it into the tabloid news and becoming the subject of such an interesting and important story. :madspit:

Oh, for crying out loud. These bloody idjits are supposed to be plastic surgeons?

:lmao: Apparently they don't realize that sleep cures many of the ills they claim to 'fix'.

See, ladies - this is whuy you shouldn't buy into that 'beauty crap. The experts are Dumb Like Rocks. :lmao:

Speaking of which! Dad. Hurry up and get here so I can go home and to bed.
