oh -- that pic and some others are from the small press conference given up on the balcony of the Independence Museum prior to the rally. I was separated from him only by a table on which the petition waited for signatures....

pretty friggin intense experience for someone who's never even managed to get to a concert before, and my first "meeting" he's 3 feet away from me the whole time.

I used a Nikon Coolpix 4300. Good little digicam, has a few quirks but I'm happy with the results...
