I am happy for you ... hurrah *half heartedly tosses glittery confetti* I am, *sniff* sooo happy.

Lol.

You must have all of my luck, it's taken off on me suddenly.

1. No job

2. No money

3. No time as I am searching like a little job-searching-ferret-thingy for said job and or money.

4. No friends here, as I have just moved across the country.

*orders another martini*

Does anyone have a job for me? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
*sniff*

#1. same
#2. same
#3. eh pretty much
#4. I've been here 2 years and have about 3 friends...lol *pathetic*

So yes I feel your pain....my life was exquisite til last week! *shakes fist at world*

Thank you Clarity... *sigh* I have an idea for the both of us...

Step one (tries not to hear the KNOTB going "we can have lots of fun" AAAAAACK)

ok... take two...

Step One: Get to dublin. Now, we have no money so this could be tricky. I suggest we either:
a) pose as diplomats (but this could be hard because we'd be giggling like idiots the whole time so....)
b) Duct tape ourselves to the bottom of the plane. It could get a little windy, true, we MAY have to drink our martinis out of tetrapacks, but it will be worth it in the end, trust me.

Step Two: (NKOTB: There's so much we can dooooooooooo *SLAP*) We get someone to un duct tape us from the plane, perhaps a helpful passing st. bernard with that little barrel around it's neck and a swiss army knife will do.

Step Three: (DON'T EVEN THINK IT !!! *nkotb all cower in fear*)
We deploy the fembot costumes and use our wiles to lure a motorist to give us a ride to the studio.

Step Four: (NKOTB now twitching in a corner like kittens) After a breif crash course in nuclear physics we arrive at the studio and say we are two swedish bikini models who have arrived in Dublin to seek our fortunes and offer our services as coffeegirls/ eyecandy / fission reactor specialists/ roadies.

Step Five: Shake it, shake it.

Step Six: Start our new jobs as the official fembots of U2 on monday.

... it's almost TOO simple...

Bluey and Clarity ...

I would join you in a martini, but I am on antibiotics and can't drink

1. I hate my job ... my boss just "talked" to me about a problem that wasn't even my fault.

2. I can't find a new job because PR jobs are far and few etween these days.

3. I'm sick

4. I can't drown my sorrows (cause of the meds) for the next five days.

5. Have I mentioned that I hate my job.

[color=royal blue]YAAYY SPINNY!

Don't wanna pollute a new thread, so I will do a Mona Spy Report here.
1. I am EMPLOYED. :) I start Monday. I wonder if I can be on PLEBA at work.....

2. I'm taking driver's ed. *vrrrmmm* Watch out.

3. they're making Harry Houdini stamps. um....lol

*sits down next to Bluey*

Bluey, darling... I empathize.

1. No job. I've been looking for close to a month now and not one person has called me back. Not one.

2. Running out of money. Very quickly.

3. All the time in the world. Nothing to do with it.

4. Two friends here. One of which I don't see very often. The other one is my ex-boyfriend which I'm still trying to figure out what to do with...

5. Everything I want I can't have. i.e: great songwriting skills, a tattoo, a Harley, courage to perform on stage, Larry Mullen Jr, etc... damn economy.

6. Said ex-boyfriend just launched into big long lecture about how I should stay away from alcohol because he's supposedly seen what it can do to people.... excuse me, he grew up in a church-going family where alcohol was never an issue in his life at all. Me? My stepmother, my father (tho much lesser than stepmom), and virtually every single male member of my family has been an alcoholic at some point in their lives. I'M the one with the authority, thankyouverymuch. *kneecaps ex-boyfriend* And I haven't even gone out drinking yet. I was talking about going to a bar. That's what triggered said lecture. *kneecaps ex again* *gives up and sends Larry after him*

ACK. *orders another martini*

*shuts up*

Sorry for the rant...

Hehe... At any rate:

YAY SPINNY!!!!! CONGRATS GIRLY!!!

Great to see people doing wonderfully! :) *UPS' Bono to Spinny's door* There ya go!

After the flood, all the color's came out!!!

:D Yay for everyone whose life is going great, congratulations!

To all those whose lifes suck, I join you... We're a pretty big club, are we not?

It's not your fault we're in a crappy mood ... we didn't mean to bring the mood down in your thread. Sometimes when you're having a bad day and you bump into someone who is happy, you can sometimes make you feel even worse.

We're just stuck in a moment we can't get out of ...

I really am happy for you ... :)

congrats spinny on things goin your way.
it's nice to hear that life is working out for ya :D

everything here is ok

1 job is ok
2 bf is ok
3 family/friends is ok

only thing that is really bad is that my life's kinda dull.

join's the martini club to try to spice up my life

Yaaaay Spinny...its nice to hear when things go right!

And for those of you who aren't doing so great..hang in there, it really will get better (((hugs)))

Something good happened to me today after posting on this thread. I discovered that my neighbor (he lives right across the street from me) is just as obsessed about U2 as I am! You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find fellow U2 fans in Puerto Rico. I know him pretty well, he was my sister's boyfriend at one point. But after they broke up, we hardly ever talked to each other. So today I was outside and I heard that he was listening to U2 very loud on his car stereo when he arrived to his house. I said hi and asked if he liked U2, he said he adores them. We talked about our video collections and borrowed stuff from each other. So I finally have someone, other than my online friends, to talk to about U2.

See how little things can make you happy?

Congrats also to FJ for finding a fellow fan in PR. Is it hard to find fans in Puerto Rico? My mom's from there and as far I know there aren't any U2 fans in my family or any that I know of in there.

:( Yes, it's almost impossible. They don't get much airplay on the radio here, so people basically don't know them. Some people here, the last they remember hearing from U2 is Pride:huh: . It's a shame.

congrats spinny and fj! i'm so glad things are going well for you two! *giggle* *zing* *ouch*

*joins in the down-in-the-dumps crowd*
