It's from BP Fallon's book. Taken at night in the rain in NYC during the filming for One (bar version):

Phil Joanou bellows through a hi-tech lo-fi megaphone each time the quartet splatters towards him, attempting to animate his video stars as knee-bent cameramen walk backwards filming their rock group. There's a pause in the proceedings and Bono spots the conspicuously conspicuous undercover cops hanging around outside McDonalds chomping on Big Macs and he borrows Phil's megaphone. "OK cops" Bono roars at them, "put down your french fries and come out with your hands up!" Next Bono borrows a mobile phone and calls Ali in Dublin, the rain pouring off his bedraggled head. "Good morning, Ireland, how are ya? Ali, this is your wakeup call, how are my three babes doin' this morning?" Bono, he's gotten the WORSE patch leather platform boots. Not even kitsch enough to be cool. You tell him. "I guess," says Bono putting on his little boy look, "they aren't even BAD enough to be good. They're shite, aren't they?"

so that's where it came from!

I found it at a bargain bookstore. Unfortunately, it's out of print so you hafta find one on eBay or a website/store that still carries them. Mine was under $10 and worth $100 to me! Tons of pics on every page and BP is such a strange character, I love how it's written. Sometimes it doesn't even make sense....
