ooooh so excited

I booked a trip to europe and I'll be visiting Ireland :hyper: and Spain:cool:
Though I'm going with tour groups for most of the trip I have a day free in Dublin and two free days in Madrid. I don't know what are good things to do there.... any suggestions???:D

im going to be in ireland around the same time dude!
im headed straight for windmill lane studios...

thats cool Shaynar :) :hyper:

the Guinness tour was good, an obvious touristy thing! i really liked the Duck Tour aswell, you go round in an old War vehicle that can go on land and water and it goes past Hanover Quay  and goes through loads of Dublin! Try and have a drink in the Clarence

and finding a real Irish pub

its hard to pick stuff to do in a day, i'd say research on the net/look in a guide book, maybe email PM people on here who live or have lived in Dublin (i know there are a few) and ask them for places

never been to madrid though can't help at all there

have a fab time

Jem had some great suggestions - I did all of those things when I lived in Dublin!

Kilmainham Jail is very cool if you're into history.

St. Stephen's Green is beautiful, and a great place to sit and people watch while you have your lunch or something, providing it's a decent day weather-wise.

Grafton Street is fun, lots of shops and people.

The General Post office is cool too.

Uhh... I'm racking my brain trying to think up stuff here.

The Temple Bar district has some great pubs, and the atmosphere is very lively!

If I think of anything more, I'll let you know. :D
