{just came out of Roseland NYC , seeing Television & Patti Smith--
2 big influences on u2!

In fact...I have to find my photos, but I think the {so far} only photo I've been able to get/take of Bono was at {outside of}Roseland.

Except that night it wasn't a show. It was the music Therapy awards annual (Nordorf??) and Bono was being honored that night. It's I thnk I recognize the outside of the theater, and I think in Bono's pic {also got one of Steve Van Zant -"silvio"} this either distinctive restaurant or hotel awninng is lit up out of focus in the background. Ahh, Bono research .

It'd be great beacuse it'd make a nice circle of seeing him there, then seeing Patti. It was her first time playing at the place. She & band were ggrreeaatt!
