... it's how I got my nickname; Elvis.
... it inspired me to redesign Interference at the time.
... we got those groovy lil cartoon icons.
... because I love that 'lovey dovey stuff'.

i  pop because i think the guys looked hottest in that era.

and because i think please is one of the best songs ever in the entire universe.

I'm really enjoying this Pop renaissance that has been going on lately, the album is starting to gain so much appreciation. When Pop first came out, I had very little interest in it, I just wanted to hear U2 play songs from JT and RH, so I avoided the album for a really long time. I finally bought it this year, listened to it a bunch of times and really fell for it. I know that Pop has this reputation for being rushed, maybe even incomplete, but I think it's that urgency that makes a lot of the songs more honest and vulnerable, much like the equally rushed and underrated October.

In a few years time I honestly believe the world is going to rediscover Pop, that it's not just going to be the pet album of harcore U2 fans, but that fans and artists all over the world are going to finally appreciate how great this album is.

I love POP because the length of Bono's hair or the wacky outfits that they wore at that time had no relevance whatsoever when it came to the MUSIC.

I love Pop because of the abandon in it, the sense of freedom.... it sounds so much like something they honestly wanted to do, and they were going to do it........I really don't care what others think about it. Opinions are like noses, everyone has one.

Quoting my Larry quote:

a lot of that music really inspired me... to get up and shake mah ass. (laughter)

Plus, Larry wore that silver, skin tight shirt that drove me crazy...

Oh, let's not forget, that album ROCKS!

Long live POP!

What would U2's repertoire be like without Please, Gone, Mofo, If You Wear That Velvet Dress...

and my favoritest, sexiest U2 song ever, Do You Feel Loved.

Bono's short hair, Edge's cowboy hats, the Pop-Tart t-shirt, the Hit Man...ah, memories!

 POP:heart: POP:heart:

Dance to the Popmart...top of the food chain

Oh....I'd also like to add the cover version of

POP POP POP POP POP POP
POP MUZIK

I  Pop because it is my favourite album to blast in the car stereo if I have to drive a long journey.

Also Edge in white was extremely droolworthy.

AND last but not least............... Bubble pants. :D

I loved POP cus BOOMCHA was invented and big giant lemons and MOFFFFOOOOOOO   :D

Lemons and olives

Popmuzik

If You Wear That Velvet Dress-ness
*adam's bass beating it in that song

Do You Feel Loved
Take the colours of my imagination
Take the scent hanging in the air
Take this tangle of a conversation
And turn it into your own prayer

With my fingers as you want them
With my nails under your hide
With my teeth at your back
And my tongue to tell you the sweetest lies

holy dunc space junc
mofo hood

Jesus sister's eyes are a blister

Waves that leave me out of reach
Breaking on your back like a beach

Bono going OFFFFFF in Please

 Listen to your words they'll tell you what to do
Listen over the rhythm that's confusing you
Listen to the reed in the saxophone
Listen over the hum of the radio
Listen over sounds of blades in rotation
Listen through the traffic and circulation
Listen as hope and peace try to rhyme
Listen over marching bands playing out their time
