So my man is okay with it...

When he first met me he thought my liking to U2 was interesting because I brought up the fact that they're believers. So he wanted to know more about that... there was a while there where he didn't want to have anything to do with U2 because I talked about them so much...

But eventually he started getting more and more into classic rock and eventually he asked me to advise him in getting some U2 music. Naturally the list I gave him was like 4 miles long. lol.

I've known Sean for 2 years now. We've only been dating since April. He's an aspiring writer and is currently writing some scripts for movies and some comic book stuff, but not your normal comic book stuff... he writes pretty heavy material. There was one script that ended up catching the attention of the producer of "Blade." Anyway, he'll be 23 in november, and I've managed to turn him into a U2 fan, but not as rabidly as I am.

But we actually got into a fight a while ago because he felt like I loved U2 more than I loved him... which is completely ridiculous. It's a completely different kind of love.. not even on the same planet, really. The whole thing was just really absurd... I admit I don't drool over Sean the way I drool over Larry, but Sean and I have a very deep kind of relationship... one of those things where we were talking about the meaning of life the first night we really spent much time talking together 2 years ago.

So anyway, he's alright with it... he's a bit of a fan himself, but not as rabidly as I am. He's a really deep person and he understands that my adoration for U2 is a really deep thing and he appreciates that... :)

I went out with this one kid, and his name was Adam[wuhaha] We only lasted four months, and when we broke up[which was two weeks ago]I egged his house, lucky for me his brother is known to do stuff like that so he got into trouble!!!:mac: He sorta liked U2, at one of the dances at school he requested "With Or Without You" for me:drool: I almost cried lol:sad: He knew that I am in love with U2[he found it odd that I had more pictures of the band in my locker then I did of him! LMAO.]But he didnt know about how I would spend long hours on the internet on this posting board and Zootopia. Wuhaha

My husband is the one who got me into U2.
When we started dating he wanted me to listen to a song his favorite band had about Nicaragua, man, I fell in love him and U2.
I've taken over his band but he doesn't mind, he didn't even mind that I went to see U2 during the promo tour without him, he IS the sweetest thing.:)

I am not seeing any boys right now ...

I think that because I always seem to be listening to U2, any guy that I would date would have to:
  • Have heard of U2
  • at least tolerate their music
  • Accompany me to a concert every once and a while
  • be secure enough for me to continue the Bono lust
    [/list=a]

My hubby loves U2 as much as me. He trades boots and buys stuff on ebay. (These things have quieted down lately, which is good.) We have been to 3 concerts together...one Popmart and two Elevation.

He's not too sure about PLEBA though.
