Help with Pictures!!!

Hey Girlies...
I'm new here so I am a little frustrated with including pics in my posts...
All you gals seem to be so good at it...there's pics all over the place!!!
LMAO...you are to blame over the uncontrollable drooling you subject me to day after day...
I have soooo many pics saved on my computer and I would love to share them to...
But I have absolutely no idea how to post them...
How do I post pics that I have saved in the part of my computer under"My Pictures"?
If you can help me, that would just blow my mind!!!

I believe,(and someone correct me if I am wrong) but you can only post them via a website (Xoom, geocities, tripod among others excluded); you cannot post them from your harddrive. Anything to add anyone....
