Hiya Olive!!!! Yes I got this recorded Christmas 97 when they played U2 live there on Radio 1..........I luved it soooo much, but go teary hearin Miss Sarajevo.............all I can think of, those poor pple in a war torn country and the exciting event of U2 must have been a huge thing for them...

Yes I know exactly what you mean. Envisioning the people of Sarajevo.. who just live this life that I can't honestly imagine, having this specatcle brought to them.. and then actually having to CARRY Bono through the show- it's just sooo incredible to listen to. And how Bono said afterwards they were cheering more for themselves than for the band.. it's so true. It must have been so- liberating and incredible, just the ability to go to a concert is one of the many things we take for granted. Thanks for commenting about that- I just found this concert overwhelming.
