"It never ceases to amaze me. Here, we have a man who claims professes to enjoy flower arranging, has no qualms over donning a skirt at any given time and, now we learn, prefers to use the ladies' restroom. And yet somehow he manages to embody all that is masculine and sexy. I don't know how he does it. " ~Gina, on Adam

But no mention of the bodyguard being 'pistol whipped'

the 'pistol whipped' incident happened after the popmart show in mexico city and i dont think it involved his bodyguard anyway here is the scoop...

? U2 holds firm grudge against Mexico
U2 won't be going back to Mexico anytime soon because the Irish rockers are still upset about a 1997 incident in which guards for the then-president's son assaulted the band's staff, press reports said Monday. According to Reforma newspaper, U2's musicians "have not forgotten the incident that occurred with the bodyguards of Ernesto and Emiliano Zedillo (sons of then-president Ernesto Zedillo)" during the band's only trip to Mexico. A spokesperson for a promotions firm that has tried to bring U2 back to Mexico was quoted as saying that the group "prefers to include other countries in its tours before Mexico". At the first U2 concert in Mexico City in December 1997, the Zedillo boys approached the band in a restricted area close to the stage. A U2 film crewmember noticed that one of the Zedillos was about to be hit by some moving equipment, so he grabbed him and pushed him to the ground. The bodyguards immediately attacked the film crewmember, and a scuffle ensued. Jerry Milly, head of the U2 security, was hospitalised for a blow to the head from a metal weapon. Later, Ernesto Zedillo met with U2, but the then-president failed to apologize to the band for the incident. (AFP)
