Ireland is such a beautiful country, I figured it deserved a thread where we can post some pictures of the land where our band grew up.

I bet some PLEBAns have some great own personal photograph of Ireland.

How beautiful! the architecture of those buidings is amazing.you can imagine how weird they look to me, i've lived in florida almost all of my life,and all we have here is beach and Condos.thank you for posting those!

I've been fortunate enough to travel there three times, and on the first trip met some of my relatives and saw the remains of the house where my great grandparents lived.

I took a small group daytrip in a wee tour bus and the driver stopped in front of Slane Castle just so we could take pics. There was a fence and you could look over the fence and snap photos, exactly what I did. So that pic is as close as I could get...if that answers your question.

All of these pics of Ireland are completely breath-taking but the one above gave me chills!!! You all know why!

I could hear the seagulls, the drone of the ship's horn and then Larry's sticks, counting down to the intro....Edge's billowy coat...brats playing soccer in front of the studio....

i so agree with this. Something magical happend to me while I was out there last week. I have never felt like this ever. I feel like something inside of me woke up. This feeling is better than sex, drugs or alcohol. My family and friends are telling me that I am glowing and that they have never seen me look so happy and relaxed. I love Ireland. It is a beautiful country filled with beautiful people. I am planning my return trip.

I really have to go now ... the stories and piccies have inspired me. From everything I read, I think I would be very at home in Dooblin ... it seems a lot like my hometown of Milwaukee ... Well, but cooler since Bono lives there.

Though Milwaukee is getting hipper ... Halle Berry comes here quite a bit since her hubby's (Eric Benet) from Milwaukee and has his recording studio here.

Oh .. and Dustin Diamond (the guy who played Screech on Saved By the Bell) lives here. Wait that's not cool.

you can come stay with me when we move there! Less than 2 years and we will have our finances in order and will be on our way! I know it sounds like a long time, but it sure isn't...

And about that low depressed and empty thing. I did go like that and did come back uplifted. There is just a great vibe and an amazing magic that fills the spirit which when I thought mine was dead was an amazing feeling.
