You know how Bono and Ali call Elijah 'Eli' -
Is that:
Eli-ee; or
E-lie

I assumed it was the latter but I just wanted to check. Thanx.

Since his name is Elijah, it has to be the long 'i' sound like in 'hi' for sure. I can't imagine they'd call him Eli to be pronounced like Ellie Mae Clampett.
