Found this random U2 news over at Showbiz Ireland website

It's not everyday a star with the celebrity magnitude of Pamela Anderson lands on the doorstep of ShowBiz Ireland in Temple Bar so here's a big thanks to the U2 boys for putting her up at their plush Clarence Hotel!

But if there's anyone on the planet well accustomed to photographer's lenses its Pamela Anderson and unusually for a big name celeb she was quite polite and courteous to our snappers. No diva behaviour here!

We caught up with Pammie yesterday as she made her way to her promotion at Brown Thomas - as she left U2's Clarence Hotel we noticed she was reading a letter signed by "Edge & Morleigh" - we didn't get the full jist of it but it seemed to inviting Pam's boys over to The Edge's house for a play date with his children. Smiling Pam seemed really blown away by the kind gesture as she was driven away...
