EDGE = Dave

i dunno how many of you listen to bootleg concerts, but i heard a popmart show from hannover, germany. it was an earpiece recording, and through out it you could hear dallas schoo talking to edge. you know, giving him pointers, info etc. But anyways, the interesting part is that dallas was referring to him by his real name DAVE. I wonder how common it is for people to refer to him as this. I mean, i assume his wife would (maybe? haha), but i thought all others would call him edge.
anyone know any stories about this?

Maybe as a servant he's not allowed to address him Edge I've heard they even call Edge's parents Mr. and Mrs. The Edge!

I think Edge is less strict about always being called Edge than Bono is about being called Bono (like no one but his dad was really able to call him Paul). Anyway, Edge said to Hot Press or something that all his credit cards and various IDs have "David" on them so there are a lot people who refer to him by his given name. Bono, on the other hand, has his initials on everything, at least according to the Flanagan book.
