my country is predominantly catholic. the rosary is so well prayed here in schools, homes, people even pray in vehicles during the long travel *it takes about 30 mins to finish it. most catholics here too are marian devotees *marian for mama mary) and in fact it is said that Mama Mary when she showed up in Fatima , asked the believers to pray the rosary often. "the family that prays together stays together." I am saying this because I would like Bono to know how great respect filipinos have on the rosary and people who wear them are highly emulated.
Keep this up Bono. I am sure when you visit my country, one of the first things people will take notice is the rosary you have been wearing. Maybe it would be a nice gift for you so Ali does not have to have it reproduced. You see here, the rosary has to be blessed with holy water before you use it. Now I dont want to start the idea of you being flooded with rosaries as a gift. oops!
