Do you fit the fan stereotype?

I've never started a post in PLEBA, but here goes.

I just read in the U2 At the End of the World book about Edge's love letter from a fan. Here's an excerpt...

"[Edge is] wondering if right now Larry is finding the fan letter Edge left lying conspicuously in the dressing room. The letter tells Edge that he is 'the best-looking member of U2. Bono has a big nose and Larry looks like an inflatable doll.' Edge got the note in Australia and he plans to keep leaving it out until Larry notices it."

"Bass players attract the weirdest fans," Edge says. "I tend to get the bespectacled M.I.T. students. Bono gets the poets. And Larry, unfortunately, gets the girls." Edge sighs...

Edge is personally my favorite, and I am the bookish type, I guess. Any comments on this passage? Have you ladies here in PLEBA ever talked about this part of the book?

I'm an Edge girl myself, I wouldn't call myself an MIT brain, science is my game, but I am pretty smart I guess. Honor society in High School and all of that... I just always felt like I connected with the Edge. Maybe b/c we are both shy people, and tend to observe rather than get involved in situations...

The fan who wrote that is known as EDGELETTE..she is from australia, and she has a website... i have seen it, but i dont remember the url...

she really HATES adam...and finds him UGLY
