The year has been good to me so far as far as U2 is concerned, meeting Bono (again), meeting Adam, my pic with Bono and now the topper will be....Getting my butt on stage.....Hope we both make it


And to answer the first part of your question ... I can't imagine that has ever happened

considering that i'm the kind of person who freaks out when a U2 song comes on the radio or when I see U2 on TV unexpectedly (being in our sitting room around the time of the ITunes ad was a dangerous time for my family ), I can only imagine the scenario that would entail. I don't think i'd do Bono's perception of the female fan any favours (what, with losing to ablity to speak in a language that anyone could understand).

I don't know what I would do if I ever got picked to go on the stage. I do know that whenever U2/Bono comes on t.v. I get a big smile on my face and wave at the t.v.. Why I wave, I don't know? Everyone in my family has started smacking my hand when I do that, needless to say that by the end of the Grammys my hand was really sore. I am scared that if Bono were to come up to me to pull me on stage, all I would do is wave at him, and totally freak him out. What if he thought I was waving for him to pick someone else. That would just plain old suck!
