Thanks for the news!

The U2 frontman socialised in a number of pubs around Newport during his stay and signed autographs for excited youngsters. While he was willing to sign autographs, locals said that for the majority of the time he was left in his own company and allowed to have his pint in comfort.

All the kids here have them-(except mine)- oh, I forget, we- the kids, I mean, are the not-rich but spoiled!!!

I want to hang out with Bono in a pub, too. :sad:
 
Yeah, we're not mad at you, we're just mad that the media isn't saturated with photos of that Bono sighting. It's not your fault, and we still appreciate photoless threads, so long as we're keeping tabs on our B-man :)

When I read about this just this morning I thought: I'm happy Bono was having some time for himself, where he could just get away without being bothered. So I'm glad there aren't pictures. The man must have the chance to go out in private and spend some time in peace without being photographed. He's human, he needs some rest. There will be a lot of public events coming up where we will see pictures, probably Sundance and after that Davos.
 
Hey ladies! :wave: I'm finally back after some much-needed rest. I really appreciate all of the messages of apology. I'm sorry I got so emotional about the "worthlessness" of this thread because of the lack of pictures. I just wanted to share the news with my buddies and didn't expect a backlash. u2jesusgirl and I have a mutual friend who posted this article as a bulletin on MySpace. I got excited and looked for the actual article, instead of just the copy and paste, and made sure no one on Pleba had posted about it yet. This is only the 2nd thread I've posted. Blue crack sustains me. It's my addiction. There are no hard feelings toward anyone. I love my Pleba friends! :love:

Aww, Dion, don't slap yourself. It's fine. :hug: I am glad to be getting mail from you. I feel bad because I have yet to send you anything. I will get on that! I really want to talk to you soon. It's been way to long since we've drooled together.

I am actually quite sad about not getting to see U23D. I am SO upset about it. EVERYONE seems to be going except me. Damn living in the South!
 
Oh CRIKEY! Wouldn't it be great to be in a place like this (Newport) where Bono could rest and enjoy his pint without being too bothered.....I mean, once the young fans dispersed....if you were right there too! Sheesh! That would be awesome! What a nice quiet one on one sharing a pint with the B-man himself in the flesh! Wow! :ohmy:

DOn´t worry "This thread is worthless without pics" is another "inside joke" for plebans :D is like something funny :D :hug: like shineys or beachballs :lmao:
