Carrie (oliveU2cm) posted about this on EYKIW. I was like laughing my arse because it's so usual that the men I know say that Bono is awful, eeky, gay, etc. etc. But deep inside of them, I know they feel a real appreciation for the man. And who could blame them?

I was standing next to him at Boston 4 when the MTV camera crew came up and down filming the fans and some of their signs before the show. It said "I'd go gay for Bono". He said his g/f was aware of this and understood.
