I'm not surprised Bono wears 'tightie whities.' Back when we were young, 'tighties' were for the cool dudes, and boxers were for your Dad, and how embarrassing if anyone drove up in my driveway and saw my dad's boxers hanging out the top or bottom of his shorts, GROSS!! EMBARRASSING!! See, boxers were for DORKS and OLD GUYS. It is totally incomprehensible to me that they are now 'cool' for young guys? My husband and brothers still wear briefs (tighties) because guys of our generation grew up with them and like them best, and I think they're sexier.
