the caption says the other person is "R&B singer Nicole" - is she popular in Europe? I've never heard of her

I used to work with her! Her name is Nicole Scherzinger and she was in a band called Eden's Crush, from a TV show called Pop Stars. This is her on the right:

I'll bet you anything she's hooked up with Iovine... Not to be a gossip, but it's a hunch.

I know she sang back up on the Days of the New CD on Interscope though. I'm curious to know what she is up to these days. She was a really sweet girl.
