Bono and Edge were doing an interview for an American TV program called "Access Hollywood." I'm not sure where they were but it was during the first leg of the Elevation Tour I believe. Why he did it? I'm not sure, lol. I only saw the clip when it was first aired.

It's a Jim Morrison impression. I think they may have been near the Sunset Strip in LA where Jim was famous for doing similar things (scaling buildings, screaming junk, etc).
