This is for all the ladies who love not only Bono but Bruce, too! At the show in Miami tonight, Bono joined Bruce onstage for the song "Because the Night" which Bruce wrote for Patti Smith and has performed himself over the years. According to my friends who were there, Bono wore his army bucket hat with a star on the back and no glasses. He had on navy blue and my friend said it looked like fatigues. She said they sounded amazing together - their voices really enhanced each others! She left it on my phone machine. They traded verses and shared the choruses. Another friend said Bono messed up the words and seemed a little nervous and like he was intimidated by Bruce. He also adlibbed at the end (something about hands and church and stuff like that). Dave Stewart from the Eurythmics came onstage and played guitar during the song as well. While Bruce was playing guitar, Bono was urging him on, "Comeon, comeone, play!" like, you can do this! My friend was dead center right at their feet (it's general admission)....and she had a ticket for me but I couldn't go :-(

I think if I'd been there, I'd have had to excuse myself and take a cold shower before I rushed the stage and defiled them both at once.
