Could be. I don't know, I just thought it looked like a claddagh ring at first glance, not some gem stone.

Yeah, it's not a gemstone. But even in very close up shots of it, it's difficult to see exactly what it is.

I've actually posted some close ups, and it's still sort of hard to make out a fish design to me anyways! (Can't find the pics at the moment though).

It's a platinum one, replacement for the gold one Bono got first from Larry, And for the white golden Bono got as replacement wen he lost the gold one
