All these GREAT scruffy Bono pics remind me of the story that Bono tells of his experience in the Ethiopian refugee camp that he and Ali volunteered at for nearly two months back in 1985.

Bono says that the Ethiopian people in the camp didn't really know what to make of his hair and lovingly ended up calling him "the girl with the beard".

I love that story and how the B-man tells it. It seemed to fit in this thread.
