There are hundreds of photos out there of Bono and Edge that are more colorful, more in-focus, bigger, or more action-oriented...

But I think this is my very favorite.

There is something so warm, so telling, about the connection between these two individuals that is revealed in this photo. Even though Bono is out of focus, you can tell that he knows that Edge is looking upon him fondly -- and for someone who blatantly needs people's affection so strongly, you can share his happiness at that.

And there's no disguising the affection and brotherly connection that Edge displays for Bono in this shot.

Reason #397 why I love this band.
