Guess what girls? LARRY SMILED AT ME. It was at one of
the NYC Elevation shows (can you believe I don't remember
the date? I guess I don't have tour anniversaries like you guys
do) and he was surrounded by guards after the show. He
was about to get in the car, but I screamed "Larry!" REALLY
loud. He turned and my heart almost stopped, but then I threw
him my stuffed Harley Davidson pig. It's really adorable, and I
thought he would like it. He caught it, looked at it, and laughed,
then turned and GRINNED at me! I grinned back and gave him
the peace sign, and then he got in the car and drove away!

That's my little U2 story. That was an awesome day!

I haven't contributed much to the Larry Smiling Fund, so I thought I'd do so right now:

This is Larry. Larry has a hole in his sock. (if you look closely at the video, you'll find he has a hole elsewhere, too) Bono thinks Larry is a dork because he stopped the song to A. Itch his foot, and B. to fix his holy, smelly sock.

"Yes," says Larry smiling (like a dork), "I am a dork. But I'm a drummer. And drummers are cool."

this is a semi-grin... kinda like a smirk.

OK... Larry is smiling here and I think it's because of the size of that marker... it's freakin' ginormous.
