Adding Text to Graphics (photos)

Does anyone know how I might be able to add text to a picture. I've tried several sites but I'm still none the wiser.

I'm incliding a pic as an example and if anyone could add some text to it and then explain how they did it, I'd be ever so grateful. Thanks a lot.

I can't see the pic, but you have to have programmes for doing that. Like Photo Editor or Corel or Adobe. U'm pretyt sure your pc has that too.

If you're using a Windows machine: Start > Programs > Accessories > Paint > Open (your pic) > click the "A" on the left to add a text box, also make sure you click the bottom option on the left to make the text box transparent (text over pic instead of text w/ white background over pic).
