A short story with a bit of irony...

I had purchased a new pair of sunglasses a few weeks ago that were somewhat bono-esque rimless but square not oval and loved them. As I was going down the stairs to go out I happened to drop them on the stairs. I then stepped on them with my Edge-like sneakers and broke them.

Is there any underlying message to this happening...hmm.
