The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

Greetings,

I was wondering why U2 chose Chicago as the location to make the Vertigo DVD. On the same note, why was Boston chosen in '01 for the Elevation DVD?

OK...OK...besides being the most energetic crowd.

Thanks,
Sid.

for places are huge u2 markets. enough to get 4 shows at a time. multiple nights in the same venue are good for recording because over the multiple nights you can master the acoustics of the arena, camera angles, etc. everything that goes into filming.

The most energetic crowd? I hope you're joking.

Which means that if they waited until the third leg....they would have done New York City.....easily.

I can still see U2 doing a New York City DVD shoot in the next few tours too.
