I think that there would only be a 3rd leg in the U.S. if the tour up to that point is a tremendous success.

That said, if there is a 3rd leg in the U.S. because of the tours tremendous success up to that point we're looking at some Stadiums (not smaller venues).

I doubt that America will get a 2nd leg this tour, its already been said by Larry that Europe was neglected last tour and they are playing Australia this time.

DONT BE GREEDY!!!!!:eyebrow:

I didn't say 3rd leg in the US, I said third leg overall :)

I am not being greedy, this is just a projection not a wish list :)

Every single tour has had a second North American leg since the Unforgetable Fire tour in '84, 85'

Huh, your little chart above only had U.S. cities with the caption:

3rd Leg - North America (Amphitheaters/Arenas)

I am well aware of that thats why I made the comment!!

I have been following U2 for almost 25 years now and it really annoys me that the USA gets ridiculous amounts of concerts in duplicated venues every tour. You only have to look at the Elevation schedule to see that, cant remember the exact amount of dates but 50 plus in America and 8 in England!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tickets for paltry 8 shows over here sold out in a couple of hours not all the shows in the USA sold out.

Time to change the routine lads and give other countries what can be classed as a tour!!!!!:eyebrow:

Yes, they will probably start with 2 US legs and one Europe leg like they always do.

I remember Larry saying that on the next tour they will be doing the travelling, not the fans. (he was referring to UK/Irish shows) After the first 3 legs of the tour, I don't know.
Likely Australia if the Aussie dollar is doing OK, maybe S. America but I wouldn't bet on it. A possible repeat on US/Europe if the tour will be like Zoo tv when they started in arenas and went to stadiums.

Stadiums if the tour is doing really well and if the stage setup and demand will allow it, but in general mostly arenas will be played.

I agree the routine does need be changed to give other countries the same great opportunity that North America has been given these past many years.

i would include calgary, edmonton or winnipeg as more likely than ottawa.

"They have to come to Croatia this fu***n time!!!"
That's right, Numbology!!! Nisam znao da si ti nas! Otkud si tocno?

My guess would be re the Europe issue that maybe we won't get more shows this time but that with the hints over Glasto etc that there will be a couple of huge outdoor shows so at least the number of Europeans they play to will be increased.
