Thanks for the info... what I'll probably do(since it takes me about 45 mins to get to the arena) is check on Ticketmaster all day, then around 4pm head towards the arena... is that a smart plan? Sorry I'm new to all of this!...I read in other posts about people lining up in the early morning for ticket drops... but heard other people getting tickets later in the day, so I assume they kinda do "two drops"?...
I'm really not sure of a few things.
Some tickets that come available MAY only be available at the Civic Center box office only.
With my experience, tickets came available in "pockets of tickets" and not necessarily all at once.
But BOTH times I got tickets (Elevation tour Meadowlands, Elevation tour MSG) I waited on line since early AM, was one of the first few people in line, and did not get tickets until VERY late in the day - practically show time.
But the Meadowlands ticket drop line was not organized like the MSG drop line - security at MSG allowed us to wait on line for tickets that were not yet available - the Meadowlands cracked down on it and did not - so that was basically a fanatic frenzy atmosphere when they opened the doors - THANK GOD they allowed me in to the first entrance without a ticket in hand.
BOTH situations had their advantages - at MSG there was a long line with lots of people in it, and I was forced to buy what was available at the time (no GA's) or go wwaayy back to the end of the line.
At the Meadowlands I was able to try to keep my cool, not piss off the people in the box office, and check back until they finally had the GA's that I desired!
I read here somewhere that Hartford is not going to allow a line to form for tickets that are not available - and you'll just have to keep checking??? But that was from one source and I don't know the facts.
