END OF LEG 2

Well we ARE trying to please EVERYONE, of course. :D

And yes, there will be arena dates to please those of you who prefer arenas.

Three dates in succession in Wisconsin, including Lambeau field. LOL. And I would have to attend each of those.

:lmao: Well, I'd love it! I get to see them everytime they came to DC, plus I could go visit my dad and see all of the Ohio dates!

You should submit this to them. I'm sure they would take it into serious consideration.

Who's gonna be the first to rain on the LPE tour by saying, " a stadium tour? Awww man, I wanted an arena tour."

Never mind. :silent:

I just hope the album sounds like a cross between AB, Zooropa, ATYCLB, JT, War and October. Oh, and maybe a few R&H style live tracks. Then I'll be completely happy.

September 1, 2005 - Iowa City, IA - Kinnick Stadium
September 2, 2005 - Ames, IA - Trice Field

It would be even better though if the Ames show was inside Hilton Colliseum. A stadium show AND an arena show in my home state!

Here's why, if this tour was real, it would make me EXTREMELY happy....

The Let's Please Everyone Tour!

April 19, 2005 - New York, NY - Yankee Stadium
April 20, 2005 - New York, NY - Shea Stadium
April 21, 2005 - New York, NY - Madison Square Garden
April 23, 2005 - New York, NY - Central Park (Free Concert)

Any combo of those shows, really, but definitely the April 19th one- that's my golden birthday. :D (And yes, it would be the best birthday EVER to stand in line for 9, 10 hours in hopes of seeing the band members.....*sigh* I can imagine it now....)

June 15, 2005 - University Park, PA - Beaver Stadium

OK, if they did this one (any date, really), I would FLIP. OUT. Why? Hometown concert!!!!!!!

(psssst- Really and truly, it's called State College, not University Park.)

In regards to why I picked Rentschler over the Meadows...Rentschler is bigger. Unless there's some sort of special significance to another place that I know about (ie Fenway Park/Yankee Stadium etc.) then I've just been going with the largest place around.

University Park is what shows up in my atlas and on the stadium website I was at...

PS: Today is busy for me and tonight I'm gonna go get polluted so Leg 3 will be up tomorrow! I promise! I've already got it almost done, but just in case y'all are wondering here is the list of countries in order:

Ireland -> France -> Andorra -> Spain -> Portugal -> Spain -> United Kingdom -> Italy -> Vatican City -> Italy -> San Marino -> Italy -> Switzerland -> Austria -> Slovenia -> Croatia -> Bosnia & Herzegovina -> Serbia & Montenegro -> Kosovo -> Macedonia -> Albania -> Greece -> Bulgaria -> Romania -> Moldova -> Hungary -> Slovakia -> Ukraine -> Georgia -> Armenia -> Azerbaidjan -> Russia -> Belarus -> Poland -> Czech Republic -> Poland -> Lithuania -> Latvia -> Estonia -> Russia -> Finland -> Norway -> Sweden -> Denmark -> Germany -> Holland -> Belgium -> United Kingdom -> Ireland

So far I'm up to Finland.

But I'll be too hammered to do it tonight. :drunk:

Ha! Eight legs...the first alone spanning nearly a year, the complaints about the long time between the ATYCLB followup's followup's release would be endless from us...

I'm sure DaveC's got them under orders to record multiple Zooropa-style releases, because, after all, we're pleasing everyone.

I, for one, am looking forward to the Azerbaijan leg. I have a curious fascination with that country, and indeed the whole Caucasus region.

Good schedule but I doubt the order will go like that.

I think that from Winnipeg to Edmonton will be a seperate CND run instead of having all the dates going back and forth from the U2 to Canada. I do like this idea since I am in Vancouver and it is close to Christmas.

December 1, 2005 - Victoria, BC - Royal Athletic Park
December 3, 2005 - Vancouver, BC - B.C. Place
December 4, 2005 - Vancouver, BC - B.C. Place

I like the idea of the second leg. I also like the idea of 2 NY shows and one NJ show.
