kings of leon get dissed alot here and i will admit that their live sound isn't that great but has anyone heard there recorded stuff?
i like their records alot. esp the song Slow Night So Long. thats my opinion about KOL. now i will run away.

What planet do you all live on? Switchfoot is a band with CCM roots that has improved to just above fair--their next album in the fal will show if they have any staying power at all or if they will fall out of relevance as another boring power pop band that had its' fifteen minutes. The fact is they had good success with their last album, especially with Meant to Live. They are not groundbreaking or original but they do what they do well. If you dismiss them merely because they are Christians then you are a moron.

As for Kings of Leon, they quite simply are one of the best young bands around. If you listen to their albums it is easy to hear the attitude, passion, mirth and skill. Their songs are well written and executed. They are not the next big thing--they are no way near boring enough--but you should own at least one of their two existing albums. If you're not a fan then you just aren't listening.

I don't think Switchfoot is opening. Here's Switchfoot's fall tour schedule. Unless possibly they hook up w/ U2 late Nov into Dec. I'm siked about the Kanye West rumor!
