don't the originals usually make U2's covers look bad? :hmm:

that's mostly true

but U2's cover of Rain up to par with the original

and their version of Help puts a smile to my face

not the "I just want to die *emo slit*" version, but the Joshua Tree one

Hopefully he's going over so bad that U2 cancel this stupid idea to have him open at the Australian and NZ shows.

Hey, you could've gotten Kings of Leon for every single show......

 I was just about to ask you how you felt about that

For a moment, I was entertaining selling some of my tickets.

Instead, I think I'll just invest in the biggest earplugs known to man and bring a good book.

Kings Of Leon honestly don't seem so bad now.

That's how badly I've taken this news.

haha, your better off with the originals anyways

although Night and Day, still being a cover, makes me giggly with all of its sheer awesomeness

Rain up to par with the original? It SLAUGHTERS the original. The Beatles' Rain is one of the worst songs I have ever heard. Terrible, terrible stuff.

U2's covers often aren't as bad as people seem to think they are. Night And Day, anyone?

Oh Axver, you're such a drama queen. You wait years for U2 to come to NZ and now you can't live through 45 minutes of an opening act.

Trust me if you survived KOL you'll survive Kanye and you'll be none the worse for wear.
