What is U2's take on bringing a minidisc recorder into the arena? Personal use only. I'm just a big fan looking to remember the experience. Any ideas on the San Diego Sports Arena's take?

I'm sure security is going to be tight and won't let you bring in any recording device. My suggestion is to hide it really good or just leave it at home.

Entirely 100% no go. I believe it even says no recording devices or cameras on the the tickets. If it doesnt Id guarantee theres a sign on the door of the arena.
Its up to you if you want to try, but if you get caught dont be surprised if they say to take it back to the car or make you throw it away.

yes cameras are cool as long as they aren't professional, that was the deal last time and I heard on another thread that it will be the same policy this time around.
