All four members of U2, along with manager Paul McGuinness, appeared for an interview on Brazilian TV's Globo Channel this past weekend. The interview had been recorded while the band were in Chicago in May. Bono was quoted as saying he would like to bring the tour to South America. McGuinness suggested a special event that would be broadcast on TV in a place no one had performed before, and asked the Brazilian reporter if anyone had ever built a stage on the sea.
