The performance of Running To Stand Still on the first night of the Amsterdam shows this summer is one of the saddest, most beautiful and haunting pieces of music I have heard ever.
That Amazing Grace snippet at the end is incredibly heart-breaking. My favorite snippet ever at the moment. Bono's voice is just spectacular this tour.
Just wanted to say that.
Still haven't heard the Paris II and Amsterdam II shows... I bet there are some great versions there too.
