Real... They're on the side of the ellipse on the very front row of seats, it's just that from the angle of the picture, they look like they could be at the tip of the ellipse

Heck no there is no doctoring of the picture, it is real. Didn't realize the ladies were in seats and not standing though.

Wonder what they thought of the show? There was a really old couple in front of me at Twickenham 1. They had a great time.

There was an older couple sitting behind us at the opening show and they left about halfway thru the show!

i am shocked that they would enjoy something like this...U2 does "rock out" sometimes and a rock show is LOUD.

There was such a cute little old gal with us in the Ellipse on 9/21 with a homemade t-shirt which said "Oldest U2 Fan" on it. She had to have been at least 70. She seemed like she enjoyed the show.

My Mother is in her late sixties and she went, she loved it. She has always loved U2, she saw them on other tours too.
