Question about meeting the boys?

hi there! anybody have any luck so far meeting the band before or after the show??? just curious, b/c i'm heading to the philly show in may. I wanted to get a game plan together. god willing this will be my year to meet them!

I've met them twice - in 1985 (Toronto) and 1987 (Minniapolis) - it was great. In 85 it was backstage and in Minniapolis it was at the Whitney Hotel where they were staying. If I were you I'd try the soundcheck (it seems lots of people are having luck that way) or find out what hotel they're staying at and just hang around and keep your eyes open. i think you'll have better luck at soundcheck (before the show, around 3 or 4 pm). they are not doing a philly show the next day, and therefore could very well do a "runner" (leave the venue immediately before the house lights even come up), in order to fly back to NYC the same night... many of them have apts in NYC, and would surely rather stay there than in a philly hotel.
