exactly!! i really have nothing against foreign languages but at least with english the only thing that has genders are animals! we don't assign genders to inanimate objects. and who decides this anyway? i can imagine it "hmmm, this window looks kinda neutral to me." "really? i think it's feminine." "no no, definitely, neutral."

English is supposed to be one of the most difficult languages to learn. I can understand that too, what with all of our words that are pronounced the same way but spelled differently. At least in German, everything is pronounced differently.
