Oooh more covers. Going to have to check those out once this one finishes! Thanks LJT!

No problemos....tis good to share:D

No problem! There's some links to other good blogs there that sometimes have covers.

http:// musicformaniacs. blogspot.com/ If I recall correctly scroll down a bit on this one to find a really, really funny cover of Ain't Nuthin But A G-thang. Here's a quote from the site

In 2001, Chicago's Jima had an interesting idea. On-line dictionaries, like, say, Merriam-Webster's website, have audio pronunciation guides - look up a word and you can click on a sound file of an announcer actually pronouncing the word. What if you sampled lots of these words and strung them together in a song? The result was dictionaraoke: "Audio clips from online dictionaries sing the hits of yesterday and today," over instrumental music often provided by cheezy karaoke backing tracks. The contributors were mainly members of the Negativland mailing list.

Over the years, many of the links were broken, but the entire project has been revived and hosted by archive.org. The result is hours of deadpan, robotic amusement.

Hillarity.

My speakers aren't working - I must wait hours until I hear I Got You. :sigh:

LJT, thank you again!

Is it good? :hmm:

It is decent...just a wee acoustic...i love the band though...very very good..Crowded House is probably one of their main influences.

I heard from my friend who got scanned into the ellipse in Milwaukee. She was number 35, but ended up 2nd row inside. Something about all the rain today making tickets soggy, which clogged up the thingy they punch the tickets with and slowed things up. Anyway, she said it was one of the worst GA lines ever...aside from raining all day I guess there were other "problems."

:hmm:

Acoustic, I wonder if they can beat Pearl Jam's version. :hmm:

I may like them then. :hyper: (although 90% of the Australian music scene lists CH/NF as one of their main influences and mostly sucks  ) Here is hoping! :hyper:

You live in Ireland have you met Nick Seymour yet? :hyper:

Hey, I'd love to hear the Muse Smith's cover, but it looks like you uploaded the wrong file. The House of the Rising Sun rocks though!

Could you upload the Smith's cover and do you have anymore cool Muse stuff?

Thanks,

Niceman

Well at least she's still in the ellipse. I'd be happy with second row! (I know, not happy if you've waited all day in the rain,...but hey - she's there and we're not!)
