Millenium Stadium - roof shut ??

Does anyone know if the roof is likely to be shut in Cardiff ? I am hoping that the roof will be shut even if it is a nice dry day. I think it will make for a better atmosphere and the lighting effects will be amazing !

70,000 fans indoors will be something special.

Has anyone been to any concerts there and know whats happened in the past ?

They are also playing the Amsterdam Arena and the Schalke stadium which both have sliding roofs.

Th roof was closed for the tsunami gig that happened a few weeks back. I saw the concert on TV and it does seem as though it would be better if the roof was shut although i can imagine it would be really hot in there wuth so many people under one roof...

It was EXTREMELY cold for the tsunami gig - the roof did not keep any heat in! (kept the snow out tho!)
