No, not a guitar. Actually a Mexican bandito I played in a terrible home movie I made with some friends about 15 years ago. It stuck.

Went to Sydney I.

I waited 20 years for that night. This story might date me but when I was in year 12 of school we had a French exchange student who told us that he had seen the band in concert only a few weeks before. We were so jealous and I couldn't wait to have my chance to see them.

That was 20 years ago.

...My 2nd (first=Phoenix, second=Los Angeles) *should've* been it for me, but I impulsively decided back in April that Honolulu could go on the credit card (many excuses, including introducing my best friend to his fave rock band live).

Hm, the text I got definitely said Vertigo as the opener.

Well, actually all it said was "V". And it was from the guy who was at the bar. And, well, quite frankly I don't trust him any more.

From the brevity of his last text I am guessing I won't get too many more until after the show. Considering his dubious accuracy this may be a good thing.

Nope, that's it for me this time. I had a little travel to do to get to the Sydney show. I am hanging of the way he sang, "I know that this is not good-bye" though! Surely it meant something. I think I read on one of the German sites something about a 2008 tour. That would seem very soon after this tour though. Then again my German isn't what it used to be.

Anyway, if that's the only time I get to see them I will be happy.
