Well, I don't think Amsterdam looks that impressive either...

If so, then that would look very impressive.

Amsterdam: 50.000 x 3 = 150.000
Milano: 75.000 x 2 = 150.000
+
Roma: 80.000
= 230.000
...so what?

Milan 1 & 2 were unbelieveable nights, it will be a great dvd Im sure.

Yes, I have no doubt about that. But can you not see how when the stage as at one end of a stadium the crowd looks much more impressive than when the stage is facing a grandstand?
Who remembers Where the Streets Have No Name on the Rattle and Hum DVD when they turned on all the lights to see the crowd? It was amazing because there were so many people. With the Milan configuration you don't get the same affect.

sraphim said:oh and btw, I loved the way they placed the stage in Milan, facing the grandstand: it was much more intimate and personal.
I didn't like Rome in that sense... too far from the grandstands.

These shots almost look like screencaps from a DVD not?

I only like this one really... Willie has an eye for this... The roof does look good with the stage indeed!.... The rest isn't better than my Amsterdam pictures though...bathiu said:notice how perfect this stage looks like under this "roof"thing...
