Remember the transportation fiasco with the Atlanta Olympics? It was because no one organizing that event (especially in this culture) wanted to mess with stinky smelly buses. All the smart ones knew advancing their career was with and was in "the deals." So we had a super commercial, slick Olympics with a most basic service botched. Same thing here.

U2 - the band - did not price all the GAs at $50 to make the promoters/scalpers rich.


:lol: wow this is funny. I do not recall traffic problems here in Atlanta with the Olympics. All those problems came after the fact.
 
I wouldn't hold it against U2 if they had quit after ATYCLB/Elevation, they don't owe us albums and touring.

That way EVERYONE is really equal in getting tickets.

It will be funny to watch people who complained and beheaded pre-sale posting "woo hoo! the show rocked!" in a few months.
