I'm devastated

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

yeah, but you should compare MSG to the rest of the country though. One show in NYC.....is just going to be a very hot ticket.

keep trying and you'll def get a ticket. Look for a single on ebay.

I wasn't waiting. Everyday there are less and less reasonbly priced options for MSG.

I bought a ticket on ebay Saturday, reasonably priced in a bad (but not too bad section, 212 row C).

I got my ticket already and am comfortable with who I bought it from.

Do you have to have GA? Or is any seat other than behind the stage an option. I've sat in nearly every position in the arena and also have been in the heart, and I don't think there is a single bad seat.

You may not get GA for the right price, but you should be able to get a ticket for the show for the price you want. It may not be the seats you want, but you'll see the show.

I've had all different seats too, good, bad, nosebleed, behind the stage. But after last time nothing compares to being in GA close to the bnad staring Bono in they eyes and having him look back. If I'm gonna fork out for this I want it to be a special experience. But I guess I would take a bad seat as opposed to no show at all though I'd be bitterly jealous of those on the floor  Back in the 80's it was easy to buy a seat and sneak down to the floor, but it's not anymore as I found out the hard way when big armed bouncers tried to get me :uhoh:

By the way, what show are you trying to get seats for?

Like I said in another thread, I no longer have the financial ability to chase them around the way I used to. I buried myself in debt for Elevation seeing shows in 6 states :reject: and suffered for it later. Now the best I can hope for is a DC or Balt. show to be announced (I'm in Virginia) or maybe Charlotte. Philly is the closest of those they have announced but from what I see it's hopeless now. :sigh:

Yes, you do. Any ticket that has been reported as lost or stolen, then subsequently 'canceled' by ticketmaster after it gets replaced will not get you in the door. The bar code scan will flag this ticket as you enter the venue.

This happened to me at an REM show -- ebay, broker, whatever, pay with a credit card so you can fight it out later if this happens to you.

Oh my aching ass. Just what I needed, another thing to worry about! The ones I heard about being fake last time were bootlegs, I never thought about this happening! :yikes:

Sorry that happened to you, that sucks

I wondered how they did the lost/stolen ticket thing. Once my brother accidently threw away his 4 tickets for a football game and ticketbastard would not replace them. He begged the venue and they escorted him and his buddies to the seats they said they had bought just to make sure no one else was there and there would be no fight. When no one else had tickets for the seats they believed them and let them stay. That was rare. Indianapolis the friendly city  Probably wouldn't happen anywhere else.
