I've got a GA ticket for Sydney2. I'm leaving the family at home for this one (they get to go to Brisbane show) and trying to get in to the enclosure. I'm just not sure how early I should line up. I was thinking about 5am because I would really rather not spend the night in line. But I am not sure how many people will exit Sydney1 and immediately get in line for Sydney2. Any advice?

The two shows I attended, i got to at about 1pm..and was about 2-4 deep in the centre of the stage. I reckon you would have to get there at 11-12 to guarantee a rail spot.

Of course, that would go to hell if one gate were let in before the others...

5am, and you're very close to the band.

Do it, you won't regret it.
Just come before 10. That's when the hassle starts.

It really depends on the venue and the city I suppose. It doesn't matter how early you get there if the stadium let in different gates before you. I guess you should get there earlier than I had imagined because its the first time in 9 years for you guys right?

For the Montreal 1 show, there were 200 people in line a full 24-30 hours before the show.

Depends on the city, before 8am should guarantee you a good spot.
