But yeah. All those guys are uni graduates, I know Pete is a lawyer I don't know about the rest. But they are probably the only band who can boast that level of intellegence.

All the members of Dream Theater have degrees in musical theory.

I'm so far from 1,000
Which is so far from 10,000
Which barely is enough to be at the same level as some of you!

eep posted a video of the highway (somewhere in Pleba I think  ) and it is one BUSY six lane highway. Nothing like the one I ran across to get to my apartment from campus back in college :reject:.

Team The Edge was certainly courageous .

I love the name Team The Edge

but I think I might further the Adam "Silver Fox" message come St. Louis :shifty:

I think I average about 100 posts a concert.

I could never really get into a lot on Redneck Wonderland, so I have not played it all that much. I rank Capricornia in my top 5 Oils albums, so I was real happy when it came out. I got to see 6 Oils shows in 2001-02 after not seeing them since 1996, so I was so glad I had a chance to really get back into the Oils in a big way prior to the breakup. I still hold out hope that when Garrett finishes his term he will deicde to go back to music.

How was the Oils performance at Wave Aid? I have seen there is an Aussie only dvd which I may grab, since it also has the Finns on it.

I see Vertigo is a carbon copy of Redneck Wonderland (the song) in pretty much every way except for lyrics, although I don't consider it a rip as I doubt U2 ever listened to the album.

They were brilliant at Wave Aid, really fantastic. The DVD does have all their tunes except for King Of The Mountain (which was my personal favourite, that outro was  ). The Finn's performance is just then, but the crowd does carry it - it is amazing the difference that a bass can make.

Silverchair's performance though was just.

I had thought these guys were grossly overrated punk rock kiddies, but fuck me that performance converted me in a big way.

Jay must have played a club on the east coast - how was it u2wedge? I'm more a Letterman person myself...

Diesel & Dust, Blue Sky Mining

I don't know many of the other Oils titles very well... Halup - look for me in the GA line on 11/2!

By the way, do we have a streaming source for tomorrow night's show?

Who were the guests?

he was doing a stand up act locally. not at the show.

weird opening act called Jana, a Native American singer.... felt like I was watching American Idol.

Leno was hilarious... didn't think he would be that funny, but I was ROFL the whole night.

What an total ASS(h*le)!

Crossing a 6 lane highway to go pee, sounds very dangerous.

Next tour I say U2 better provide portable toilets for those waiting in the GA line all night and day!

The venues usually do provide portable toilets if there's no nearby access. The Detroit venue was AWFUL in so many respects. We weren't allowed to line up at all until 2 pm, security micromanaged the line once we were allowed to line up (every 5 minutes coming by and telling us to scrunch close together, to line up two by two, then four by four, etc.

On the second day, we had to be back in the line to stay by 5:30 pm. At 4:45 we made the looong trek to to bathroom across the street, and it took so long to get across that we didn't make it back till 5:25. We literally had to run across the road when I felt it was unsafe to do so, in order to make it back by 5:30. :|

Yeah, he was at the Turning Stone Casino... I'm a Letterman guy too, but Leno still has some good material... definitely worth it. He went a lot longer than Jon Stewart did, too.

It was just too bad Team Bono didn't get a chance to try their luck. We wouldn't have gotten anywhere either though.

And people thought we were nuts when we were doing the satellite imagery...

We knew it was going to suck :crack:
